Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) is excited to announce a new opportunity for skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our dynamic Adult Psychiatric Nursing team at the CHA Cambridge Hospital. We offer a generous sign-on bonus of $10,000 for experienced RNs (prorated for part-time employees) who have at least 2 years of specialty experience.
Cahill 4 is a dedicated inpatient adult behavioral health unit, treating a variety of psychiatric conditions such as bipolar disorder, personality disorders, dual diagnosis, adjustment disorders, and psychosis. Our team prides itself on utilizing a sensory approach for de-escalation and integrates Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) group sessions. With a strong emphasis on trauma-informed care, we create tailored care plans that meet each patient's unique needs, supported by a collaborative interdisciplinary team of nurses, milieu counselors, providers, and social workers.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Current Massachusetts RN license required
• American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required
• BSN or ASN degree required
• 1-2 years of acute inpatient psychiatric experience preferred
• Completion of a job-specific physical test is required for newly hired candidates
