Position OverviewAs a Registered Nurse (Advanced Care) in the Multisystem ICU, you will provide highly specialized care to adult patients with complex, critical conditions requiring rapid assessment and advanced clinical intervention.The 32-bed Multisystem ICU cares for patients with: • Traumatic brain injuries
• Stroke and neurovascular conditions
• Multi-system trauma
• Heart failure and complex cardiac conditions
• Acute and chronic respiratory failureThis role offers: • Lower nurse-to-patient ratios
• Exposure to high-acuity, diverse patient populations
• Collaboration with multidisciplinary critical care teams
• Opportunities to strengthen advanced critical care skills
Education & Training Requirements• Graduate of an approved school of nursing
• Meets all mandatory, developmental, and performance competency requirements for Orlando Health and the assigned unit
Licensure & Certifications• Active Florida RN license or valid eNLC multistate RN license
• Current BLS (Healthcare Provider) certification
• ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC required for select areas (NRP required for NICU roles)
Experience• 6 months or more of ICU experience preferred
• Strong critical thinking, clinical judgment, and teamwork skills
