Registered Nurse - 3 West – Advanced Medical 3 West – 30-bed unit; primary focus – advanced Medical/Surgical and stroke Individualized orientation program with knowledgeable preceptors focuses on clinical skill development and enhancement of professional role within the Med-Surg environment. {art time (48 hours biweekly) Shift: 12-hour day (7am-7pm) Every third weekend Eligible for shift and weekend differential The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for implementing, directing and coordinating the care of patients through the use of the nursing process: assessment, planning implementation and evaluation. Included is recognition and treatment of the physical and psychosocial changes unique to the age/population group served on the specific unit.
