
Registered Nurse - Afterhours in Gaston, SC
Job Description
As a Registered Nurse focusing on afterhours care, your primary responsibility will be to deliver comprehensive hospice services to patients and their families during evenings, nights, and weekends. If you’re ready to make a difference and enjoy flexible scheduling, we encourage you to apply!
Key Responsibilities:
• Triage patient needs over the phone until an in-person visit can be arranged.
• Respond swiftly and effectively to crisis situations from patients and families after hours.
• Conduct the initial nursing evaluation to determine eligibility for hospice services within forty-eight (48) hours of referral, if assigned.
• Perform afterhours visits, including admissions, death visits, recertifications, and routine check-ins.
• Identify and reassess the physical, psychosocial, emotional, and environmental needs of the patient/family at least every fifteen (15) days.
• Document patient needs, goals, interventions, and responses to care accurately.

Qualifications:
• Valid and unrestricted RN license in your state.
• Current CPR Certification.
• A valid driver's license, insurance, and reliable vehicle or access to public transportation.
• A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience.
Compensation is based on various factors, including local labor markets, education, experience, and certifications. The annual salary for this role ranges from $58,800 to $105,000 for full-time employment. In addition to your salary, we provide a comprehensive package of benefits including incentive programs, 401k contributions, and equity stock purchase options, all subject to eligibility requirements.
