Job Title: Registered Nurse (Ambulatory Care Clinic)Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Ambulatory Care Clinic team. As a Registered Nurse in our clinic, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support within an outpatient setting. Your main focus will be on delivering comprehensive and personalized nursing care, coordinating patient education, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care.Responsibilities and Duties:1. Perform initial patient screening, triage, and assessment to determine healthcare needs.2. Administer medications, treatments, and vaccinations as prescribed by physicians.3. Record patient medical history, symptoms, and vital signs accurately and promptly.4. Assist with diagnostic procedures and follow-up tests in collaboration with physicians.5. Provide patient education regarding health maintenance, medications, and self-care techniques.6. Maintain accurate and complete patient records and documentation.7. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement customized care plans.8. Ensure infection control measures and safety protocols are consistently followed.9. Monitor and evaluate patient responses to treatments, making necessary adjustments as needed.10. Handle medical emergencies calmly and efficiently while seeking appropriate assistance.11. Adhere to ethical and legal nursing standards to protect patient privacy and confidentiality.12. Support and educate patients and their families regarding treatment options and healthcare resources.13. Stay updated on the latest advancements in healthcare practices and nursing techniques.14. Participate in ongoing professional development activities, including conferences and workshops.15. Foster a positive and supportive work environment that promotes teamwork and collaboration.Qualifications and Skills:1. Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.2. Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent.3. Proven experience as a Registered Nurse in an ambulatory care or outpatient setting.4. Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures.5. Strong ability to assess patient needs and develop appropriate care plans.6. Exceptional critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.7. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.8. Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain accurate and organized records.9. Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) software.10. Compassionate and empathetic nature with a patient-centered approach.11. Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations.12. Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends and evenings, as needed.13. Commitment to maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality.14. Knowledge of healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.15.
