General Summary Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates with the health care team. Demonstrates clinical competence. May require a professional certification which is a regulatory requirement in the State of Michigan or a documented community standard for the position, works independently and in collaboration with principal investigator when appropriate. Henry Ford Medical Center - Columbus, provides primary care, behavioral health, cancer treatment, diabetes, gastroenterology, infusion, radiology and rehabilitation services. Specialty services include MOHs surgery, MRIs, and a travel clinic. This location also offers same-day primary care services for the cost of a primary care doctor office visit seven days a week and on holidays. At the intersection of 12 Mile and Haggerty roads. Columbus Center has on-site parking monitored by security Office is on 1st Floor directly across from the Security desk Internal Medicine Internists (doctors of internal medicine) are trained to treat many medical problems adults face. From minor illnesses to chronic diseases, they get to know your personal medical history and evaluate how you respond to treatments. Internists evaluate injuries and make sure you get important health screenings when necessary. They encourage lifestyle changes needed to preserve your health. Internists also manage the care of patients who have several medical problems at the same time. If and when your internist refers you to a specialist such as a cardiologist, endocrinologist or surgeon, he or she will oversee and coordinate your care -- all with your well-being in mind. This RN supports 5-7 Providers in basket Location: Henry Ford Medical Center - Columbus 39450 W 12 Mile Rd. Novi MI 48377 Hours: 8AM-4:30PM Monday-Friday no weekends no holidays, no on call Benefits: Full-Time Orientation: Ambulatory RN Orientation (Monday-Thursday first week 2 days remote and 2 days in Detroit) Education/Experience Required • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. • Bachelor's Degree preferred. • Successful completion of Henry Ford Ambulatory orientation. • Maintains and demonstrates current clinical knowledge in area of specialty. • Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans. • Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. • Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and medical group personnel. • Preferred experience in the specialty. • Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills. • Minimum of 6 months as a Registered Nurse required • Phone triage, relaying test results, scheduling tests, • Required experience with injections/vaccinations • Experience with BP titration (Blood Pressure titration) • Electronic medical records experience required • EPIC experience preferred • CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED: • Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse. • Current BLS or ACLS per Henry Ford Health policy. • Certification will be required when it is a regulatory requirement in the State of Michigan or a documented community standard, i.e., Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN).
