Registered Nurse - Ambulatory ObGyn and Midwifery in Middlebury, VT

Unit description: We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and patient-centered Registered Nurse (RN) to join our OB/GYN team. This role supports a dynamic and collaborative practice dedicated to providing exceptional care across the full spectrum of women’s health, including gynecological services, prenatal care, and ambulatory obstetrics. Key Responsibilities • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in an OB/GYN outpatient setting. • Support providers during examinations, procedures, and in-office treatments. • Perform patient triage, obtain medical histories, administer medications, and conduct patient education. • Assist with prenatal monitoring, and postpartum support. • Manage order sets, care coordination, and follow-up communication with patients. • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR). • Collaborate with providers, medical assistants, administrative staff, and care coordinators to ensure high-quality patient care. • Adhere to safety protocols, infection control standards, and organizational policies. Job Requirements • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Vermont (or eligibility for licensure). • Previous experience in women’s health, OB/GYN, labor & delivery, or related specialty preferred but not required. • Strong clinical assessment and communication skills. • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain flexible in a busy clinical setting. • Commitment to patient-centered care and a supportive team culture. Requirements: • Current RN licensure recognized by the State of Vermont required. • Appropriate experience in specific clinical area. Varies by unit.
