Registered Nurse Job Details: Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00pm - 5:00pm Location: Angleton, TX Temporary to hire Starting Pay Rate: $35.00 / hour + (based on experience) Benefits: ACA Healthcare Compliant Healthcare Benefits, dental and vision coverage, life insurance, 401(k), referral bonus and other incentives Registered Nurse Responsibilities: • Deliver nursing care to individuals with mental illness, substance use issues, and dual diagnoses. • Administer medications according to the five rights of medication administration, following all storage, handling, and documentation requirements. • Conduct thorough patient assessments, perform diagnostic tests, and administer medications. • Educate patients on medication initiation, changes, and discharge instructions; provide group education on health topics including medication management, nutrition, smoking cessation, and diabetes. • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of nursing care and patient observations. • Implement interventions as needed, adhering to established policies and procedures. • Maintain communication with supervisors and collaborate with medical and care coordination teams. • Ensure psychoactive medications are administered and documented appropriately per MAR guidelines and informed consent procedures (except in emergencies). Education Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent, required. • Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas, required Job Requirements: • 1+ year's experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.
