Established office since 1968 Work alongside family-oriented surgeons in a supportive, welcoming practice environmentResponsibilites:Provide pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative nursing care to oral surgery patients Monitor and assess vital signs and patient condition during procedures under local, IV sedation, or general anesthesia Prepare and assist in surgical procedures, ensuring a sterile and safe environment Administer medications and IV fluids as directed by the surgeon or anesthesiologist Educate patients and caregivers on post-operative care instructions and recovery protocols Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all nursing activities, medications administered, and patient observations Ensure adherence to infection control, OSHA, and HIPAA compliance at all times Support emergency response efforts by recognizing and managing medical emergencies confidently and quickly Perform pre-surgical patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories, allergies, and medication lists Assist in maintaining surgical inventory and ordering medical supplies as needed Collaborate with oral surgeons, surgical assistants, and front office staff to ensure seamless patient care Follow up with patients post-operatively to monitor recovery and provide support Contribute to the development and maintenance of nursing protocols and safety procedures Participate in continuing education and staff training sessions to stay current on best practices and certifications Provide a calming and supportive presence for patients who may be anxious about surgery Perform other duties as assigned to support daily operations
