Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health in Tularosa, NM

Summary: As a dedicated Registered Nurse in Behavioral Health, you will play a vital role in providing both routine and complex nursing care. This position requires a high level of clinical competence, allowing you to work independently while being aware of all aspects influencing patient care. You will have the opportunity to set long-range goals and effectively manage clinical contingencies, ensuring optimal care for your patients. Deliver nursing care in alignment with the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, using the nursing process which includes assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients. Address the complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families. Administer medications and treatments following established protocols; monitor and assess for side effects and the effectiveness of prescribed treatments. Document comprehensive patient histories, symptoms, medications, and nursing care provided. Assess the learning needs of patients, families, and caregivers while providing necessary education and resources. Job Requirements: Education/Skills: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is preferred. Experience: A minimum of 1 year experience in a related nursing specialty is preferred. Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications: BLS certification required. Must possess an RN License in the state of employment or compact. Work Schedule: 7AM - 7PM Work Type: Part Time
