Role and Responsibilities: As an RN in Blood Cancer Oncology, you will be responsible for creating, evaluating, and documenting individualized care plans for oncology and medical/surgical patients. Your focus will be on providing holistic, family-centered, and safe care that meets the highest standards set by the ANA and ONS. What You Will Need: • Graduated from an accredited nursing program. • If hired after 6/1/12, a BSN is required within 24 months of hire. • Current RN license in the State of Texas or a compact license. • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or ARC. • Effective 1/1/24, ACLS certification from the American Heart Association or ARC to be obtained within 6 months of hire or transfer. • ONS Chemotherapy Biotherapy certification is required within 60 days of hire or transfer.
