As a Registered Nurse for Bone Marrow Transplant, your input and expertise in patient care are highly valued. Job Summary and Qualifications: In this role, you will provide direct patient care in accordance with the Registered Nurse Practice Act, focusing on the nursing processes and outcomes for patients undergoing Stem Cell Transplants and those with hematologic disorders. Qualifications: • Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing. • If hired after 6/1/12, a BSN is required within 24 months of hire into the RN position. • Preferred: Experienced Oncology RN with Level 2 Competencies or prior Critical Care experience. • Current RN license in the State of Texas or compact license. • Preferred: Experience as an Oncology Certified Nurse or Blood and Marrow Transplant Certified Nurse. • Current BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross. • Effective from 10/01/23, ACLS certification required within six months of hire or transfer. • Effective from 10/01/23, ONS Chemotherapy Biotherapy certificate course is required within 60 days of hire or transfer.
