
Registered Nurse Call Center Triage Specialist in Aumsville, OR
Job Description
As a Registered Nurse Telephone Triage Specialist, you will be an integral part of our healthcare team, utilizing the nursing process as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing.
In this role, you will:
• Foster a culture aligned with The Corvallis Clinic's Service and Behavioral Standards.
• Provide nursing care through assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation for incoming clinically related calls.
• Ensure effective communication with patients, offering assistance and reassurance while adhering to department protocols.
• Manage your time efficiently, maintain thorough documentation, and ensure patient care paperwork is processed promptly.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and support direct patient care as needed.
• Stay current with continuing education and departmental policies to improve the quality of care.
• Enhance practice management by working to improve the functioning and efficiency of our clinic.
• Participate in training and orientation for new employees.

Required Qualifications:
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the State of Oregon.
Preferred Qualifications:
• 1+ years of experience in an acute care hospital or clinic setting.
• Experience with telephone triage and specialty areas.
• Solid understanding of the nursing process and basic clinical skills.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality care.
The hourly pay for this role ranges from $28.27 to $50.48, depending on various factors such as experience and local labor markets, in addition to a comprehensive benefits package including incentive programs and a 401k contribution.
