Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Position Details: SIGN ON BONUS AVAILABLE 10,000 Sign On Bonus for full-time RNs with at least 1 year of experience NO CONTRACT Registered Nurse - Cardiac Renal 3400 Bed Numbers: 18 Nurse to Patient Ratio: 6:1 Patient Population: Hemodialysis/peritoneal dialysis and cardiac patients that do not require cardiac drips; the floor also specializes in offering nursing care for patients undergoing specific radiation treatment. Key Responsibilities: • Deliver patient-centered care using the nursing process. • Maintain professional accountability for assigned patients. • Evaluate care provided by other direct caregivers. • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care. • Uphold patient rights and confidentiality. • Perform duties in alignment with our mission, values, and Mercy service standards. Qualifications: • Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN). • Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements. • Certifications: Must have American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or complete a course within probationary period. Must have ACLS and BLS or obtain within 90 days of hire. Why Mercy?
