Job Description
Job Title: RN – Cardiac Cath Lab
Rate: Up to $2500.00 weekly
Location: Atlanta, GA
Day Shift (10H)
Key Responsibilities
Monitoring Vital Signs: Regularly check and record vital signs such as heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation to ensure patient stability.
Administering Medications: Provide prescribed medications and treatments as per doctor's orders, ensuring accurate dosing and administration.
Emergency Response: Respond quickly to life-threatening situations, including administering medications and initiating life support measures.
Collaboration with Healthcare Team: Work closely with physicians, other healthcare professionals, and the patient's family to develop and implement a comprehensive care plan.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient assessments, treatments, and progress, which are essential for medical documentation and billing purposes.
Patient Advocacy: Advocate for the patient's needs and rights, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care and support.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Experience
• Prefer a minimum of two (2) years experience
• Conscious Sedation
• Perform both Diagnostic and Interventional Caths, PCIs, EPS, Ablations, PPM Implants, ICD Implants, Peripheral Vascular Procedures, IABP, Impella Insertions, Temporary Pacer Insertion /SWAN Ganz insertion
Licenses/Certifications
• Have and maintain current licensure as a Licensed Practical/Licensed Vocational Nurse within the state of employment.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain AHA, BLS & ACLS certification.
