Registered Nurse - Cardiac Neuro (Stroke Unit) | Full-Time in Sanford, FL

Shift: Days (Rotating Weekends) Job Summary We are seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Cardiac Neuro/Stroke care team. This role involves providing high-quality, patient-centered care to adult patients while performing clinical assessments, coordinating treatment plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. The RN will function independently while ensuring safe, effective, and compassionate care delivery. Responsibilities • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans • Monitor patient conditions and recognize changes requiring intervention • Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders • Educate patients and families regarding medications, procedures, and recovery • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with clinical standards • Promote patient safety and quality outcomes • Collaborate effectively with physicians and healthcare team members Qualifications • Minimum 1 year of recent Acute Care RN experience (Med-Surg/Tele) Required • Acute Rehab experience may be considered if comfortable with stroke patients • Active RN license (multistate acceptable) • Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred) • NIH Stroke Scale certification required within 30 days of hire • BLS required • ACLS required within 6 months of hire Benefits • Sign-on bonus available (varies by shift) • Shift differentials for nights and weekends • Relocation assistance available (case by case) • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage • 401(k) with employer match • Paid time off and leave programs • Tuition assistance and continuing education support • Employee wellness and assistance programs
