POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Registered Nurse in Cardiac Rehabilitation, you will utilize the nursing process to deliver exceptional patient-centered care. You will coordinate patient care by collaborating with an interdisciplinary team and effectively communicating patients' clinical conditions. Quick and accurate responses to changes in patient conditions are crucial. You will provide care that is appropriate for patients of all ages, while promoting nursing professionalism through collegial support and communication. This position reports to the Clinical Nurse Manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide direct and indirect patient care with a focus on quality and safety.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and adjust care plans as necessary.
COMPETENCIES:
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Connecticut.
• Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required upon hire, with maintenance of clinical competency throughout employment.
