Type of Opportunity: Full time FTE: 0.9 Job Exempt: No Work Shift: 12 Hour Nights (United States of America) Responsibilities: Our Cardiac Step Down unit is a 38-bed facility committed to delivering top-notch care through a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach. We cater to patients requiring telemetry monitoring for cardiovascular disorders, including cardiac arrhythmias and heart failure. Patients recovering from myocardial infarction, coronary interventions, pacemaker placements, and electrophysiology procedures receive specialized care on our unit. Approximately 50% of our patients are progressive care-type, and we ensure comprehensive, professional care during their inpatient stay, complemented by personalized discharge planning for outpatient needs. Qualifications: • Minimum Associate Degree: Degree from an accredited academic nursing program preferred • Registered Nurse-NM, State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License required. • BLS certification REQUIRED at time of hire.
