Find your calling at Mercy! Registered Nurse - Cardiac/Respiratory Unit Join our fast-paced, high-energy team caring for higher acuity cardiac and respiratory patients. This 25-bed unit is an excellent starting point for nurses with long-term goals in ICU or ER settings. Position Details: SIGN ON BONUS AVAILABLE 10,000 Sign On Bonus for full-time RNs with at least 1 year of experience NO CONTRACT Qualifications: • Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN). • Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements. • Certifications: Must have American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or complete a course within probationary period. Must have ACLS and BLS or obtain within 90 days of hire. Key Responsibilities: • Deliver patient-centered care using the nursing process. • Maintain professional accountability for assigned patients. • Evaluate care provided by other direct caregivers. • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care. • Uphold patient rights and confidentiality. • Perform duties in alignment with our mission, values, and Mercy service standards. Unit Details: • Patient Population: Higher acuity cardiac and respiratory • Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 4:1 or 5:1 • UAP-to-Patient Ratio: 9:1 • Unit Size: 32 beds • Environment: Fast-paced, high-energy; ideal for nurses pursuing ICU or ER careers Why Mercy?
