Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough patient assessments upon admission and during each shift, identifying and addressing changes in patient status.
• Perform medical procedures and closely monitor patient response, ensuring accurate documentation of care.
• Provide compassionate care, promptly responding to patient needs and effectively managing their requests.
• Educate patients and families about their medical conditions and treatment plans, ensuring understanding through clear communication.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required; those enrolled in a BSN program must complete it within five years of hire date.
• Licensure: Valid registered nurse license with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. eNLC license may apply.
• Certifications: BLS Healthcare Provider certification required; national certification in specialty preferred.
• Experience: Prior hospital nursing experience is preferred.
