Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular
Works under the supervision of the Cardiac Services Clinical Manager/MD. This position assists with all non-invasive and invasive diagnostic and interventional cath, pacer, and EP procedures. This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and supervises individual patient care according to unit policies and procedures.

Here is what you will be doing:
• Supports and models behaviors consistent with the mission and vision of CRMC and Cardiac Service department.
• Monitors patients throughout non-invasive and invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Responsible for identifying changes in patient's rhythm and hemodynamic status.
• Assesses, monitors, and administers conscious sedation according to hospital protocol.
• Implements medical and nursing orders per plan of care and documents appropriately.
• Evaluates patient's response to care.
• Meets all performance standards in scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating positions.
• Engages in patient and family teaching as appropriate.
• Unit specific orientation and ongoing training and competencies as assigned based on department role, scope of services, and organizational standards.
• Assists with all non-invasive diagnostic procedures to include exercise treadmills, stress echo, nuclear stress testing, Dobutamine stress tests, TEE and Tilt table procedures.
• Able to function independently with hemodynamic monitoring equipment and treadmill equipment which includes operations, troubleshooting and calibration.
• Communicates with nursing units, and patient's families.
• Triages of patients utilizing Appropriate Use criteria for non invasive procedures.
• Organizes daily workflow.
Desired Skills:
• Ability to establish and maintain relationships conducive to collaborative team approach
• Knowledge of all cardiovascular procedural equipment and ability to troubleshoot any problems that may arise
• Knowledge of radiologic equipment and radiation safety
• Functions at a high level of competency with minimal supervision from Cardiovascular Clinical Manager/MD
• Demonstrate effective leadership and professional skills according to Standards of Care.
• Ability to assess, evaluate, explain, teach, and problem solve using critical thinking
Here is what you will need:
• Current Wyoming Registered Nurse License or enhanced Nurse Licensure (eNLC) upon start date
• Associate's Degree from an accredited school of nursing
• Cheyenne Regional RQI within 14 calendar days of start date
• One year of RN experience in acute care or ambulatory setting
• AHA ACLS (Within 6 months of hire)
Nice to have:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited school of nursing
• CVN, RCIS for Cath Lab, and RCES for EP Lab
• Recent and relevant critical care and/or cardiac care experience
• Knowledgeable of EKG rhythm recognition
