Responsibilities • Lead and oversee RN case managers to ensure high-quality patient care and effective care coordination. • Direct utilization review, authorization, and denial management processes to ensure regulatory compliance, appropriate admissions, and optimized length of stay. • Supervise care coordination, treatment planning, and post-acute follow-up to support seamless transitions and effective disease management. • Manage staffing, daily workflow, and performance improvement initiatives to maintain operational efficiency and quality improvement goals. Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration: • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required. • BLS Provider. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted preferred. • Case Manager credentialed from the Commission for Case Manager Certification (CCMC) preferred. Education: • Required professional licensure/certification AND 3 years of experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required. Additional Preferences • Minimum three years of professional nursing case management experience required.
