
Registered Nurse - Cath Lab in Bonner-West Riverside, MT
Job Description
RN Licensed In The State of Montana Required Current BLS required upon hire - Required to begin working The RN coordinates all patient care activities in the Montana Heart Center.
The nursing process is used in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the nursing care of cardiology patients from admission to the department through discharge or transfer.
The Cardiology RN provides expert care and education to Cardiology patients in the clinical setting, acts as a patient advocate, leader, mentor and positive role model for assistive personnel.
Minimum Required:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Licensed or eligible for licensing in State of Montana as a Registered Nurse.
3 years recent cath lab experience.
Cardiovascular, critical care, or emergency nursing experience.
The RN must be knowledgeable in clinical nursing procedures, cardiovascular disease processes, interventions and pharmacological agents.
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment requiring strong cardio vascular clinical and assessment skills.
Current Healthcare Provider BLS upon hire is required.
ACLS required within 3 months of hire.
Completion of Moderate Sedation course required within 3 months of hire.
Proficiency in English, verbal and written communication skills and computer skills required.
Must cross train to all areas of the Heart Center.
Call rotation required for Cardiac Cath Lab.
Preferred / Desired:
BSN, 4 plus years recent cath lab experience.
ACLS upon hire.
CVN certification.
Potential Sign-On Bonus based on experienceThis position is subject to Drug and Alcohol Testing according to MT Law 39-2-205-39-2-211.
