Description Preferred Experience: 1+ years of recent cath lab RN experience strongly preferred. Location: UCHealth UCHlth Highlands Ranch Hosp, US:CO:Highlands Ranch Department: HRH Cath Lab Position Type: PRN, 0.0, 0.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Days Pay: $38.91 - $60.31 / hour, dependent on relevant experience This role involves providing high-quality direct patient care in a cath lab setting, ensuring patient safety, and optimizing treatment outcomes. You will be integral to delivering nursing care within a dynamic environment, requiring both critical thinking and decisive action. Key Responsibilities: • Prepare the environment and assess patients before procedures, ensuring safety checklists are complete. • Respond to life-threatening situations using established nursing standards and protocols. • Manage critical and high-pressure situations with composure and efficiency. • Deliver nursing care in a complex technical setting. • Evaluate and address the educational needs of patients and families, providing appropriate information and guidance. • Demonstrate critical thinking skills and work independently in a fast-paced environment. Requirements: • Current Registered Nurse licensure. • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification. • Graduation from an accredited nursing program and relevant licensure/certification. • 6 months of experience as an RN or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program. • Basic Life Support certification from a recognized provider, valid upon start date.
