Established in 1961, St. Josephs Hospital in Tucson is home to the Carondelet Neurological Institute and the Carondelet Joint Replacement Center. The hospital offers advanced care that includes a Level I Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center and spacious and comfortable labor and delivery units. • Minimum Requirements
• Education:Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Experience: Three (3) years related experience.
• Licensure/Certifications:
• Valid current Arizona Nursing License or compact state license and ability to become Arizona Licensed in 30 days.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association and others as required by individual department. National certification in clinical specialty as defined in the addendums.
• Preferred Requirements:
• Education:BSN, Bachelor (BS,BA) in related field
• Experience: One (1) year supervisory/leadership.

• Coordinates staff scheduling and educational/development activities.
• Identifies and resolves issues affecting the delivery of patient care.
• Performs quality assurance studies and assists with implementation of quality assurance and/or improvement initiatives.
• Serves as resource to staff and external contacts on issues related to patient care, patient flow and clinical standards, policies and procedures.
• Monitors departmental compliance with regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Directs the work flow and guides the clinical process of therapist, assistants, technicians and clerical staff.
• Assists in Human Resource management through involvement in the processes of interviewing, orienting, counseling issues and performance evaluations.
• Serves as a leader in program development.
• Facilitates program improvement through the performance assessment and improvement process.
• Updates policy and procedures and assists manager in development of new policies.
• Monitors and facilitates financial transactions of assigned program to ensure cost effective delivery of quality care and services.
• Provides input into the annual budgetary process.
