We are offering a competitive $10k Sign-On Bonus (prorated for part-time employees) for newly hired RNs with at least 2 years of experience in the specialty. Our newly opened Center for Inpatient Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at Somerville is specifically designed to meet the needs of youth ages 3-17, including those with neuro-developmental disorders. Our 6 East and 6 West Child Unit features a secure 21-bed psychiatric setting providing compassionate care to children aged 3-11. We utilize a multi-disciplinary approach to deliver patient and family-centered care, focusing on assessment, stabilization, and post-care treatment planning. Our methods emphasize trauma-informed practices and evidence-based treatments, with an ongoing commitment to reducing the use of restraints. Qualifications and Experience: • Current Massachusetts RN license required • American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required • BSN or ASN degree required • 1-2 years of acute inpatient psychiatric experience preferred • Newly hired candidates must successfully complete a job-specific physical test The final offer may vary based on experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity considerations.
