Location: MetroHealth Old Brooklyn Campus Biweekly Hours: 72.00 Shift: 7a-7p, 3p-1130p, rotating weekends and holidays Exciting Opportunity! Your Role: As a Registered Nurse, you will have a key role in the planning, delivery, documentation, and evaluation of patient care in your assigned area. You will work in line with medical directives and established nursing standards, while overseeing the activities of nursing staff. You'll be responsible for monitoring patient conditions and ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping. Key Responsibilities: • Deliver exceptional nursing care tailored to individual patient needs. • Document patient conditions, treatments, and responses accurately. • Lead and direct nursing personnel in the delivery of care. • Uphold the values and standards of The MetroHealth System. Qualifications: Required: • Graduate of an accredited nursing program. • Active Registered Nurse license in Ohio. • Basic Life Support certification by AHA or obtain within 90 days of hire. • Strong foundation in nursing theory, medical sciences, and aseptic techniques. Preferred: • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). • Experience in specific clinical units as required (e.g., Operating Room, Critical Care). • Advanced certifications (e.g., ACLS, PALS, NRP) depending on the unit. Physical Requirements: Ability to sit, stand, stoop, and walk intermittently during the day, with capacity to lift between 250-300 pounds with assistance. Some exposure to communicable diseases, body fluids, and cleaning chemicals is required.
