Registered Nurse - Clinical Education Specialist in Washington, DC
Job Description
Shift: Monday to Friday, 40 hours weekly
Location: Local rate within *** miles: See AM
Licensing: Must have DC license in hand
Experience and Certifications
• Experience: 2 years of educator experience required
• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, BSN
• Preferred Certifications: OCN
Electronic Medical Records
• Required: Cerner
Weekend Requirement: Emergency only
General Skills
• MS/TELE
• Inpatient Acute Care
• Clinical Practice Knowledge by Specialty
• Wound vacs and PACS
Responsibilities
This Clinical Specialist will cover MS surgical services. The role serves as a clinical expert and healthcare provider, educator, collaborator, consultant, leader, and researcher for a specific patient population or specialty area. Responsibilities include providing consultation to address complex patient care issues and offering guidance on the prevention and management of patient care practices.

• All employees must have the Flu vaccine
• May come into contact with Covid patients
