Department Hemodialysis Job Summary The Registered Nurse Clinical Lead will lead and facilitate the daily operations of the unit by supporting the implementation of evidence-based practice, while serving as a resource within the organization for information, education, and training for the safe and efficient daily operations ensuring optimal care for the patients. Required Qualifications - Require graduate of an accredited school of nursing or a diploma program. For new hires after 2012, Bachelor of Science Degree in nursing (BSN) is required within specified timeframe as outlined in the New Hire BSN Agreement policy (126.045). - Require two (2) years of current satisfactory registered nurse experience. Preferred Qualifications - Prefer demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of staff. - Prefer demonstrated leadership skills and understanding of group processes and teamwork. - Prefer demonstrated ability to take initiative and exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem solving expertise. - Prefer demonstrated ability to perform diversified duties with time limitations with a high degree of accuracy. - Prefer demonstrated interpersonal skills, including the ability to handle difficult situations in a diplomatic manner. - Prefer demonstrated working knowledge of commonly used computer applications.
