Key Responsibilities: • Deliver direct nursing services to residents within your assigned neighborhood or program. • Conduct hands-on training for newly hired team members and provide necessary skill set retraining as needed. • Oversee and accurately transcribe physician orders in the electronic record system and treatment plan, administer medications, and execute treatments as directed. • Lead and supervise clinical and non-clinical team members, fostering teamwork and professional growth. • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to review, plan, coordinate, and assess resident care. • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of residents' conditions and nursing needs. Communicate observations and reactions regarding residents effectively. • Implement treatments as necessary, documenting status and monitoring reactions to medications and treatments. • Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers, ensuring quality customer service. • Plan resident admissions as per physician orders, perform thorough assessments, verify orders with physicians, and coordinate with pharmacy and laboratory services as needed. • Provide comprehensive and precise reports to the incoming shift to ensure continuity of care for residents. Qualifications: • Active Registered Nurse license and any additional certifications required by state regulations. • Preferred: At least one year of nursing experience in a long-term care facility.
