A few details about your role: • Provide direct nursing services to residents within your assigned neighborhood or program. • Deliver hands-on training to new team members and assist with skill set retraining as needed. • Oversee physician orders, ensuring accurate transcription in the electronic record system and treatment plans; administer medications and treatments as prescribed. • Supervise and support both clinical and non-clinical staff while fostering a collaborative work environment. • Engage with the interdisciplinary team to assess, plan, coordinate, and evaluate individualized resident care. • Document resident conditions and nursing assessments promptly and accurately, reporting significant observations in a timely manner. • Administer treatments as necessary, documenting responses to medications and treatments. • Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers while maintaining high standards of customer service. • Conduct thorough assessments for new resident admissions, verify physician orders, and collaborate with pharmacy and laboratory departments. • Provide comprehensive reports to the oncoming shift to ensure seamless continuity of care for residents. Here’s what you need to apply: • A valid Registered Nurse license and any other certifications required by state regulations. • Preferred: At least one year of nursing experience in a long-term care setting.
