Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled registered nurse for our WIC and MCH Program. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of maternal child nursing. This position is part time working 3 days a week on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. The main office is located in Sabetha and travel required to our Seneca office occasionally. Additional travel required for MCH Home Visits.
Responsibilities
• Conduct MCH Home Visits to prenatal and postnatal families
• Serve as the primary Women, Infant, Children (WIC) nurse
• Conduct health assessments/Kan-Be-Healthy exams on infant and children
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
• Provide education to new parents
• Administer vaccinations
• Provide public health education
• Additional public health nursing duties
Requirements
• Must hold a current Kansas nursing license
• Ability to manage medical records efficiently
• Experience in caring for infants and toddlers, providing guidance to new parents on best practices.
• Reliable transportation
