Job Description
Care One seeks dedicated RNs for full-time positions at $64.00/hr in Adrian, MI,
• Gus Harrison Correctional Facility
• 9:30am - 10:00pm OR 10:00pm - 6:30am
• Rotating weekends and holidays
• PTO
• Weekly Pay
Registered Nurse Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive care services, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Assess patients' healthcare needs through routine evaluations and develop individualized nursing care plans accordingly.
• Conduct health screenings for patients or clients.
• Respond to emergency healthcare situations as needed.
• Collect and document data related to patients' health status.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by medical practitioners, and educate patients on treatment methods.
• Offer health education and instruction on promoting health and managing illnesses, diseases, injuries, or disabilities.
• Responsibilities may vary based on departmental assignments.
Registered Nurse Qualifications
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Michigan.
• Ability to relate to and treat diverse patient needs.
• Strong skills in patient assessment, management, and documentation.
• Experience with venipuncture and intravenous therapy.
• Ability to work in correctional facilities regardless of patient demographics.
• Strong interpersonal skills for teamwork and collaboration.
• Integrity and sound judgment in handling confidential matters.
• Adaptability to changing organizational needs.
• Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
