Key Responsibilities: • Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate care for critically ill patients, delivering high-quality and efficient care within a high-acuity environment. • Provide education and instructions to patients and their families on medications and treatment plans. • Maintain and review patient records, ensuring accuracy with tests and examination results. • Administer medications in accordance with physician orders to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Qualifications: • Active Florida Registered Nurse license or appropriate compact licensure, with the requirement of obtaining a FL RN license within 60 days for compact license holders. • Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN is preferred. • Experience in an acute care setting is strongly preferred. • Current BLS certification is required. • ACLS and PALS certifications are preferred and must be obtained within 6 months of hire/transfer. • NIHSS certification is preferred and must be obtained within 6 months of hire/transfer. • CCRN or CEN certification is preferred. • Strong critical thinking, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in PC skills are essential.
