Hartford Hospital is actively seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for our Critical Care Nursing Units. This position is in the Medicine Intensive Care Unit (ICU), a 16-bed unit that delivers exceptional care to patients dealing with complex and highly acute medical conditions. Our ICU leverages advanced technologies and devices, including CRRT and ECMO, to manage cases such as respiratory failure, gastrointestinal bleeding, liver injury/failure, kidney injury/failure, sepsis, and drug and alcohol withdrawal.

The unit operates 24/7 and is supported by a team of Physician Assistants and Advanced Practice Registered Nurses under the supervision of a Critical Care Pulmonologist.

Qualifications:
• Current Connecticut RN License.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school (BSN required).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required prior to the start date.
• A minimum of one year of acute care Registered Nurse experience is strongly preferred.
• In exceptional cases, experienced RNs holding an ADN/ASN currently pursuing a BSN or MSN may be considered.
• Graduate Nurses are encouraged to apply through our Critical Care Graduate Nurse Program.
