Responsibilities:
In this nine-bed unit, you will have an RN-to-patient ratio of 1:2. Depending on the acuity of the patient, we often provide 1:1 care. You will be working closely with all multidisciplinary team members ranging from the physician, advanced practice professionals and Clinical Nurse Specialist, to respiratory therapy, physical therapy, case management, and pharmacy. You play an essential role in integrating this multidisciplinary approach into your patient’s care plan.
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required.
• Consistent demonstration of Novice / Advance Beginner clinical nursing practice proficiency required.
• RN - Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within the state of California required
• BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required.
• Adult Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 3 months of hire
