A registered nurse with CVOR experience is needed to provide exceptional perioperative care at a medical center located in Boulder, CO. This contract position offers a 4x10 hour day shift schedule, providing a predictable workweek with early start times from 06:30 AM to 04:30 PM. The role requires clinical expertise in cardiovascular operating room nursing with a minimum of one year of CVOR experience. Key Qualifications and Experience: • Minimum of 1 year cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) nursing experience • Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification • Valid Colorado or Compact RN license • Ability to float as needed within scope to support different units • Willingness to fulfill weekend and on-call responsibilities in alignment with unit needs • Familiarity with Epic electronic charting system preferred Role Responsibilities: • Deliver direct perioperative nursing care in a CVOR setting, maintaining safe and sterile environments • Collaborate with surgical teams, circulating and scrubbing as assigned, with navy scrub attire • Manage patient care for up to 2 nurses and 1 surgical tech per room across 12 OR rooms • Participate in on-call rotations and provide weekend coverage per unit scheduling • Comply with all facility protocols and professional standards to ensure optimal patient outcomes Location Overview: Boulder, Colorado, is renowned for its stunning natural beauty, vibrant community, and abundant outdoor activities.
