Deliver specialized perioperative nursing care as a Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) in a dynamic healthcare environment. Ideal candidates will bring at least one year of CVOR experience and the ability to adapt to varying schedules including weekend and on-call duties. Key Qualifications: • Minimum of 1 year experience in Cardiovascular Operating Room nursing • Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification • Valid Colorado or Compact RN license • Proficiency with Epic electronic charting system preferred • Ability to float between like units and meet fluctuating operational needs • Comfortable working a 4x10-hour day shift schedule, 06:30 – 16:30, various days (weekends and on-call required) Primary Responsibilities: • Provide expert nursing care in a 12-bed/OR room cardiovascular unit, maintaining high safety and quality standards • Collaborate with surgeons, techs, and anesthesia teams, managing 1-2 RN to 1 ST ratios per room • Ensure adherence to infection control protocols, patient positioning, and surgical preparation • Utilize Epic for accurate and timely documentation of patient care and surgical details • Participate in unit flexibility by floating as necessary within your scope of practice Location Overview: Situated in Fort Collins, Colorado, this position offers access to a vibrant community known for its stunning natural landscapes, outdoor recreational opportunities, and thriving cultural scene.
