Your recruiter will provide the most up-to-date details during the hiring process._ • *Responsibilities** Deliver professional nursing care in the operative setting to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgical or other invasive procedures. • *Responsibilities:** + Perform both scrub functions and handling of instruments and supplies used during complex cardiovascular surgical procedures. + Perform circulating functions including monitoring, recording and communicating patient condition and managing overall nursing care of patient during cardiovascular procedures. + Assist operating physicians and anesthesia with accessing and maintaining lines and intubation during cardiovascular procedures. + Prepare cardiovascular operating rooms and surgical instruments and equipment for use. • *Requirements** • *Licensure / Certification / Registration:** + Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. + One or more of the following required: + Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. + BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
