Qualifications and Experience
• Current Pennsylvania RN license in hand
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required
• Proven experience in cardiothoracic nursing essential

Schedule and Duties
• Day shift, 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts (7:00 AM to 3:00 PM)
• Starting times adjusted based on case schedule, with early clock-in for heart cases
• On-call duties 1-2 times per week on weekdays; weekend call required 1-2 times per 6-week rotation
• Call coverage typically from home with expectations to respond within 30-40 minutes
• Participate in approximately 2 heart cases daily as part of a specialized 3-RN Heart team
• Commitment to teamwork and flexible responsiveness to urgent cardiac cases

Responsibilities
• Provide expert perioperative nursing care to cardiothoracic patients
• Collaborate closely with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
• Maintain thorough documentation and follow established procedural protocols
