A Brief Overview
As a Registered Nurse, you will provide professional nursing care to patients and families while effectively collaborating with physicians and the healthcare team to deliver outstanding patient care.
What You Will Do
• Provide comprehensive nursing care by administering medications and treatments in line with established standards.
• Prepare medical equipment and assist providers during procedures, examinations, and testing.
• Monitor, document, and communicate patient conditions and responses to treatments to the medical team.
• Manage appointment scheduling, ensuring prioritization for urgent matters while keeping a timely patient flow.
• Welcome patients, perform initial health assessments, including vital signs, and document in patient charts.
• Respond promptly to patient inquiries, collaborating with physicians as needed.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and wellness strategies.
• Handle patient care issues and complaints with constructive solutions.
• Maintain an organized and sanitized examination area with adequate supplies.
• Ensure proper labeling of pathology specimens as per lab protocols and maintain records on lab testing processes.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the specified hours and effectively communicate while paying close attention to detail.
Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:
• Registered Nurse (RN) - Active license from the Board of Nursing in the state of practice upon hire.
