CCS is a 24-hour program that provides short-term, overnight crisis care to stabilize and support adults experiencing psychiatric distress. The CCS program was designed as an alternative to hospitalization. The Director of Nursing will lead and support Nursing staff across two CCS program locations in Lynn MA and Danvers MA. The ideal candidate brings proven supervisory experience and a strong background in caring for adults experiencing psychiatric distress. Responsibilities: Collaborate internally and externally to ensure seamless approach to service delivery and enhance referral stream Provide consultation for client admissions and discharges Develop, implement and oversee a system of medication and nursing services in accordance with DPH, MBHP, and Agency standards Ensure that all medications are administered, stored and dispensed in accordance with all relevant regulations Develop and implement a system of health care monitoring that ensures clients receive support accessing needed medical care Develop medical plans to ensure that all clients receive appropriate medical care while on the unit and follow up appointments on discharge Provide oversight, guidance, and supervision to nursing staff to include training, performance evaluation, work assignments and problem resolution. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Nursing Current Massachusetts RN License Four years of experience working in a psychiatric/substance abuse setting Two years of experience working in a supervisory role Valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm (This is a fully on-site position requiring flexibility to work at both our Danvers, MA and Lynn, MA locations) Annual Salary $115,000—$125,000 USD At Eliot, we are committed to supporting you at every stage of your career, providing opportunities for growth, purpose, and community.
