JOB RESPONSIBILITIES-
Registered Nurse Director - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
RN DIR - NICU
Full-Time
Registered Nurse Director of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit candidates will have the following job responsibilities:
• Directs and manages the operations and activities of the NICU Department.
• Responsible for the overall management of the department's daily operations to achieve quality improvement, fiscal, productivity, and patient satisfaction goals and objectives established by upper management.
• Responsible for staff performance and the accomplishment of departmental responsibilities in accord with corporate, hospital, department, and safety policies and procedures to meet both company and regulatory requirements.
• Responsible for providing high-quality patient care to and acting liaison with patients and their representatives, physicians, and employees.
• Responsible for the efficient operation of the department and optimum use of resources to maximize productivity and minimize costs.

Registered Nurse Director of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit candidates must meet the following minimum job qualifications:
• Current Florida license as Registered Nurse or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions)
• Bachelors Degree from an accredited School of Nursing
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Current Neonate Resuscitate (NRP) certification or must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date Current STABLE certification or must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date
• Minimum 3 years of clinical NICU nursing Director experience in an acute care setting
WOULD CONSIDER A STRONG NURSE MGR (4-5 YRS EXP. FROM A HIGH PERFORMING FACILITY- LEVEL 4 NICU
MUST HAVE DIRECT CLINICAL EXP IN NICU WITHIN THE LAST 3 YEARS (HANDS ON WILL BE REQUIRED FOR THE ROLE
