We are seeking a Nurse Educator to join our team of passionate patient caregivers!

Qualifications:
Required Skills:
• Current Registered Nurse license required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Three years’ direct nursing experience required.
• One year experience in Employee Education preferred.
Additional Qualifications/Skills:
• Knowledge of principles of adult learning in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of education programs.
• Knowledge of current nursing theory and practice, infection control, and wound care standards of practice.
• Knowledge of current regulatory requirements and best practices for industry.
• Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures.
• Demonstrates general computer skills including: data entry, word processing, email, and record management.
• Effective organizational and time management skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality.
• Ability to work closely and professionally with others.
• Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards.
Responsibilities:
Develops and maintains educational strategies and programs to ensure appropriate professional development for multiple departments and disciplines. Keeps staff current about changes in protocols and procedures. Integrates the hospital’s mission and “Guiding Principles” into daily practice.
