• Caring for cardiac and peripheral procedural patients.
• Performing post-sheath removal procedures and monitoring for complications.
• Interpreting EKGs and recognizing abnormal lab values, promptly reporting your findings to physicians.
• Managing the efficient flow of patients, including screening, preparation, and nursing care.
• Maintaining and reviewing patient records, including posting test results.
Qualifications:
• Graduation from an accredited Nursing program (Associate's Degree or higher).
• Current Registered Nurse license in your practicing state or Compact/Multi-State RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or American Red Cross is required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred; must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• A minimum of 1-2 years of Cardiac Cath lab or Electrophysiology experience is required.
