The Emergency Department delivers high-level care to a diverse range of patients, including those with traumas, common ailments, and critical conditions. Our collaborative, multidisciplinary team consists of Registered Nurses (RNs), Advanced Providers, Nursing Assistants, and administrative staff. The department features 23 beds, a fast-track area, and specialized behavioral health spaces. Our RNs care for patients with various needs, including behavioral health and opioid-related issues, committed to providing flexible, patient-focused care. Job Summary As a Registered Nurse, you will work in a collaborative environment, utilizing evidence-based practices under the guidance of the Nurse Manager. You will apply the nursing process to create tailored care plans addressing the physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs of patients and their families. Qualifications • Experience: Minimum one year RN experience required; familiarity with nursing processes and customer service principles. National certification in the specialty preferred. • Licensure/Certification: Current BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS certifications must be obtained within 3 months of hire. • Qualifications: Current CT RN licensure or in the process of obtaining; graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
