Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse Navigator is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice. The Registered Nurse Navigator also directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care within the Cancer Center. The Registered Nurse Navigator is responsible for providing warm line support and navigation services for clients served by Saint Michael Medical Center.
Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. Current and valid state RN License
2. OCN preferred
3. Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
4. Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
5. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Pay Transparency
Saint Michaels Medical Center offers competitive compensation and the current compensation range for this role is $57.95 to $66.46. Benefits may vary based on collective bargaining agreement requirements and/or the employment status. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
