Summary:
As a dedicated Registered Nurse, you will utilize the nursing process to deliver exceptional patient care to an assigned group of patients during your shift. Your role will include efficiently prioritizing nursing care while integrating a standards-based framework model.

Work Shift: 12 Hour Nights
Responsibilities:
• Provide direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting individual patient needs and responses.
• Coordinate patient care collaboratively with patient/family and healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians or according to standard protocols.
• Identify and address patient and family learning and discharge needs throughout the care process.
• Perform competently in emergency situations while delegating tasks to healthcare team members as appropriate.
• Supervise and support LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel.
• Facilitate orientation for new staff or students and serve as a professional role model.
• Engage in continuous education and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
• Degree from an accredited nursing program (ADN required, BSN preferred within 5 years).
• A minimum of 1.5 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Current State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License or Graduate Nurse Permit.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (NRP, TNCC, ATCN preferred).
• Flexibility to float to other PresNow facilities as needed.
