Grow and Thrive with Us! • Access to educational and career development options, including reimbursement for tuition and certifications • Participate in a supportive staff safety initiative • Enjoy differentials for night/weekend shifts and higher education • Receive malpractice liability insurance • Take advantage of loan forgiveness opportunities through the New Mexico Higher Education Department • Utilize our EPIC electronic charting system Type of Opportunity: Full time FTE: 0.9 Job Exempt: No Work Shift: 12 Hour Nights Responsibilities: • Provide direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting individual patient needs and responses. • Coordinate patient care collaboratively with patient/family and healthcare team. • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians or according to standard protocols. • Identify and address patient and family learning and discharge needs throughout the care process. • Perform competently in emergency situations while delegating tasks to healthcare team members as appropriate. • Supervise and support LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel. • Facilitate orientation for new staff or students and serve as a professional role model. • Engage in continuous education and quality improvement initiatives. Qualifications: • Degree from an accredited nursing program (ADN required, BSN preferred within 5 years). • A minimum of 1.5 years of relevant nursing experience. • Current State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License or Graduate Nurse Permit. • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (NRP, TNCC, ATCN preferred). • Flexibility to float to other PresNow facilities as needed.
