About the Role
Our Emergency Department provides comprehensive care for patients across the full spectrum of emergency needs. As one of the state’s highest‑volume EDs, you’ll practice in a dynamic environment that demands strong clinical judgment, rapid decision-making, and effective communication.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver safe, evidence‑based emergency nursing care in a high‑acuity setting
• Rapidly assess, triage, and respond to evolving patient conditions
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care
• Educate and support patients and families during critical moments
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and uphold all safety and quality standards
• Participate in shared governance, professional development, and continuous improvement initiatives
Minimum Qualifications
• At least 1 year of RN experience (ED experience preferred)
• ADN, Diploma, or BSN in Nursing (BSN preferred)
• Current South Carolina RN license
• BLS certification (ACLS/PALS preferred or obtained after hire)
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
