Responsibilities: • Deliver direct patient care by assessing and addressing individual needs during each shift. • Ensure patient safety and efficacy of treatment through ongoing monitoring and documentation. • Administer medications and treatments as ordered, adhering to established protocols. • Collaborate closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams to coordinate care plans. • Supervise and support Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and other assistive personnel. • Participate in education and competency testing relevant to unit standards and patient populations. • Adapt to floating between departments and local locations within a 20-mile radius to meet staffing needs. Qualifications/Desired Experience: • Active RN license with experience in emergency nursing preferred. • Ability to successfully pass a Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia (BCA) test administered onsite prior to assignment start. • Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and patient communication skills. • Experience in medication administration and care documentation. • Flexibility to work across multiple departments and locations. Contract Details: This is a contract position with potential opportunity for extension. Candidates must pass the BCA test, with one chance to retake if necessary; failure to pass will result in contract cancellation.
